Fremont Firefighters Association, Local 1689 was established in 1967. We are part of the greater union labor group known as the International Association of Firefighters (I.A.F.F.). Our membership of 130 strong, spanning from firefighters to battalion chiefs, serve the city of Fremont, California and its 280,000 citizens
